    The section they are sitting in, that was more interesting than being stuck inside the littler venue watching pistols. And we watched two GBR lads compete.

    As a shooter myself I can only admire this young Mr Wilson. The concentration needed to shoot that well and so consistently is phenomenal.

    There is a lot of nonsense talked about shooting.
    Nothing wrong with youngsters taking up a sport that teaches them discipline, respect, fitness, concentration and not to panic under pressure.

    Mentioned on another thread but the control room within the Shooting venue not only has a Champions Addicks flag in its wall but also 3 x season ticket holders manning the radios, Charlton Life is checked with regularity through out a shift! I should have been in this afternoon but only just back from hospital where my lad was taken ill in the night (nothing serious thankfully) so missed Peter Wilsons gold..

    I am sure WSS is mischief making and wasonly meant as a witty observation so before people shoot him down (no pun intended) I should think most of us believe that its far better for youngsters to be involved in this sport and develop a disciplined respect for a firearm as opposed to only seeing them on a playstation or hip hop video...

    Well done Peter Wilson, no empty seats and lots of "ordinary Londoner's" (is there such a thing) in the crowds throughout as well
