Just seen both allowed to leave Saints. Both will do us nicely please!

    Forte may have scored a good hat trick against us but he has never done it at Championship level and his overall record is average.

    Barnard worth a punt though, if he can get fit then hopefully he could find his form from a couple of seasons ago.

    Fonte is quality cant beleieve they are letting him go, if we signed him i would be over the moon, Him Morrison Wiggins and Solly would take some beating even in championship imo

    A bit of confusion here guys, it's Forte who has been told he can go, not Fonte. Barnard would be a handy addition for us.

    forte not fonte dude ;) I don't want either of these tbh. Fonte yes, but Forte no, despite his hat trick. Don't think Barnard would be that good either, think both need to drop to League 1 to find some form.

    Ok so who has Saints realeased Forte or Fonte, i was just saying that the title says Fonte!??!

    Hasn't Barnard got a court case pending or something? And no wouldn't want him, his blonde hair reminds me of the baddy in Lethal Weapon!

    To clarify, eug72 and MCS got it wrong, its Forte who is being sold alongside Ryan Dickson and Lee Barnard. Jose Fonte is still wanted.

    i can tell you that saints fans do not rate Forte at all. They will all be glad to get him off the books. His one good game against us was just that - a one off.

    Barnard we should keep clear of. Saints hardly used him last year. Not because of his court case (which he was found not guilty) but because he wasnt up to the championship. He has also struggled with injury alot over the last 12 months too. Do we need an injury prone player? Also he is known to be out alot at the clubs of southampton.

    I would have loved either of them last summer ,but in the CCC it's a different ball game .If they did come here they would be cover at best.
