Only just found out that he is a local lad (Dartford) and lives down my Mums/Fanny Fanackapan's road.

    Couple of my mates are teachers are DGS they said he wasn't even the fastest in the year at one point but his application and commitment was incredible.

    I went to DGS. Our athletics team in the old days was pretty poor compared to other sports. Will cheer him on a litte more now!

    My Dad was at DGS in the 1940's - he still supports Charlton now.
