Good result. What was the Fulham line up like, have we just beaten a Prem side or have we beaten a bunch of kids?

we really are a good side you know...

we are when we play with some width - I'm not sure the diamond formation is the right one, but certainly playing with Kerkar or Cook on the left and Green or Waggy on the right is the way forward.

But kerker is in the centre with JJ and Wilson wide.

sorry - thought he was playing wide (he is principally a winger) & seeing as you are there & i'm stuck at home.........

too think Kerkar signing was 'worrying' to some people on here...

he's not played a competitive match yet calm down
Oh I see now you can say a player is not good enough without seeing him play but Heaven forbid when listening to commentary that says he's played well and you are encouraged you shouldn't mention it.

Fulham line-up: Schwarzer, Riise, Hangeland (C), Baird, Petric, Ruiz, Duff, Diarra, Riether, Dembele, Kacaniklic..

No it was a strong Fulham line up.

From the first page: "Fulham line-up: Schwarzer, Riise, Hangeland (C), Baird, Petric, Ruiz, Duff, Diarra, Riether, Dembele, Kacaniklic."

Looks like 8+/11 are first teamers there, plus mentions of Rodallega and other strong Prem class players in the second half.

You can knock that positive stuff on the head right now.

It was as close to their starting line-up for their first game as possible, according to Jol, so that makes it a very decent result.

You may or may not have but you're quick enough to jump on a comment that's praising him.

the way he said it like he's just won player of the year...he's come on for 20 minutes in a friendly and played well.

Was listening to the great commentary on Player, sounds like we can take a lot of positives out of that game. Strong Fulham side which should give the players some confidence going into the new season.

Sounded like Kerkar played really well when he came on. Pritchard played great as always. Solly must have defended well as Duff had no luck against him. Yann with a super goal. Jackson scored, again! Stephens had a lot of space and helped control that second half, but notably after Dembele had been subbed.

After a lot of negativity around on here lately, we need to start being positive again, getting behind the players in which is a vitally important season, and a great result against a strong Fulham side is a good place to start in my opinion.

    Bring on Birmingham away!

Just had a call from "the blackheath panther" he has a mate thats a security guard down there and who watched the game, said that Charlton were very good.

Can only mean good things goin forward and give the team confidence. Good to see solly out there
  • Agree Cray. Will be a great confidence boost to the lads. Thanks RM as usual.
  • Just got back from a 30 mile bike ride and this eases the pain in my legs a fair bit. A great result, COYR!!!!!!! bring on Orient and Birmingham.
