This is probably just the start, will likely be another three or four caught as well.
Why do they think they can get away with this?0 -

Have to say, as the person who first mentioned the Micky Skinner likeness, that this news is up there with bears doing their business in the woods and the pope being catholic!! ;-)

Essentially it's a competition between the dopers and the anti-doping authorities. As soon as they invent a new steroid they work out a way to test for it, a few athletes are caught but then a new steroid is invented. There are supposedly 100 different variants of EPO out there with no reliable test and a newish steroid called Aicar which assists in weight loss. Currently despite being several years in existence there is no test for Aicar. Soon there will be and one or two athletes will get caught and then they'll move on.

Presumably Valerie Adams who is getting bumped up will claim it on the way home to NZ, she more than passes the CL height test at 6ft 5 and wouldn't look out of place as a lock forward in an All Blacks scrum.SoundAsa£ said:

Be some good TV footage of her trying to snatch the medal back should the two of them ever meet up...anyway I'm guessing dear Nadzeya is long gone with her medal and is already back in Belarus, anyone care to pop over and get it back.............Errrr right I thought not?BlackForestReds said:

Interesting article here http://www.slate.com/articles/sports/sports_nut/2011/08/unbreakable.single.html. Unlike the men's events, none of the women's sprint events (including the 800 metres) have been broken since the 1980s. What more do you need to know?0
