    Any idea why only Andy Hughes has a hyperlink on the OS? Whatever happened to him anyway? Injury, falling out with SCP or what? Thought he was pretty good as a midfield standin last season.

    It is strange to not see Wiggins/Solly/Kermorgant/Hollands to not move up to starting 11 positions, but I assume that it is a superstitious thing from a title winning season to keep relatively little changed!

    Hayes and Clarke know where they stand lol.

    I think the starting 11 get to choose what numbers they have. Like CP said last season he asked Rob Elliot what squad number he wanted to be.

    Not all players want 1-11, even if it looks odd having 2 and 3 taken by reserves rather than first teamers.

    I presume if Green leaves, then a new signing could take No 7?

    I think the fact he is number 7 means that he is here to stay. Anyone looking to be shipped off goes straight to the bottom of the list (eg - Hayes and Clarke).

    That is very interesting. I can't see any goo reason to do that unless we were going to bring in a player. Numbers 23-27 and 29 are also free, but I'm guessing that has more to do with Cort keeping 28 and the reserves being in the 30s.

    Wasn't Clarke number 40 last season?

    Numbers don't mean anything nowadays. Wiggins and Solly prefer their numbers even though they're first choice.
