First away of the season is always a top drawer atmosphere, Notts Country last season was one of the best aways last season, if we top 1500 I can see this being twice as good!

Ipswich tickets will be £34 and £40 adults. Bound to be backfire, at least as far as away sales are concerned IMO.

Whats the U21 and such the like? Away prices like those mean people buy the cheaper tickets thus ripping the home club off, I'm happy to do this until they learn to lower prices

Well, I was doubtful I'd go due to engineering works, but I wouldn't pay £40 as a matter of principle.

Ipswich are having a laugh. Fair play to anyone going up there.

I'll give that a miss at those prices. Oh the joys of Championship football. I'd dread to think what they'd charge in the PL. That does nothing to attract the casual fan.

Just buy a 34 quid one if you were going to go.

Agreed, but even that's taking the p*ss.

I agree, but that's the price to pay if you want to see your team at a higher level sadly.

Not sure, Brum was about £27 which sounds about right. Anything over £30 is extortionate for 90 mins of second tier football, £40 is a disgrace.

It's got to be time for the FA/Gov't to try and get involved, some of the holes we were visiting last season were charging £25+ a ticket which is almost unbelievable if it wasn't for the fact that we were doing it too !

Maybe we should charge their fans that amount when they came just like we did with Forest back in the 90s when it was £20.

But there should be a football rule that away tickets charging should be capped considering what the fans have paid to get there!

    I'll be there though!

cant imagine anyone would have gone in those queues for tickets they could get some other time
  • Cant afford 4 tickets @ 40 each plus travel.
    Simples.
  • The 40 notes tickets are in a more central block but not worth it

I had one in the 2 seasons season i had an away season ticket

34 is a joke but then again I can drive it in an hour so more likely to go there than say huddersfield for half the price

The rumour is that #cafc have so far sold 1,527 Birmingham tickets. And when I say 'rumour', I mean 'fact'! (MW)
