Hello friends,

Does anyone know when the horse racing calendar is released for 2013?

Looking at potentially doing it for my stag do in May but want to see what meetings are on.

    The start of May will be the guineas at newmarket , the dates should be on their website if thats any help

    At a guess, at the end of the flat season in November?

    Also lingfield does a couple of saturday evenings in May

    Saturday evenings at lingfield run throughout the summer, they have racing and music nights most weeks from May to August

    Don't dismiss Brighton...lovely little racecourse 10 mins in a cab from station, and after the meeting plenty to do and see in the town....not to sure about their racing calender though, you would have to check their website.

    Last year's racing calendar was delayed due to the inability of the BHA and Bookmakers to agree Levy Funding. so much so that some racing diaries (C4 racing for example) were printed without the full fixtures.

    I would hope that it would be sorted sooner this year with the end of October/beginning of November being the likely outcome.

    The 2000 guiness is normally the first saturday in may.
