1. Only four managers have not presided over a League Cup defeat since Charlton went professional in 1920. Can you name all four?

QPR 0-3 (late guals) they where top of old div 1 = was a replay. Only time I watched Charlton at home with my dad0

3. Was in fact WHU, Lewis is quite correct. I was at the QPR game too - also 32,000 plus. I think it was the previous season and I vividly remember a packed Covered End doing that "Rodney is a fairy" thing with the wrists. Happy days.

What about losing a home game on an opponents ground? I think our first ever LC game vs the Hammers was a home draw but as we didn't have any floodlights we played it at Upton Park. Can't help thinking if we originally lashed out for floodlights for the league cup we shouldn't have bothered.Bryan_Kynsie said:8. Think you will find that was the case if game went to replay.Lost match so did not happen.This match was 2nd league cup game played in county.No idea of two teams who played first ever game.Big William said:

Lewis is right about that, too. Of course losing a home game at Sh*tehurst or Upton Park which was never a proper home game ought to count as a ninth way of going out. I am pretty sure no other club can claim a record to compare with that.
4. is not West Ham, it is in fact Luton Town who knocked us out on 4 occasions. Which is the other current non league side to have done us twice (question 6)?0 -

Re Q5. No neither of those. Actually it is believed that neither Swansea or Hull City have ever made it to the QF, never mind lose at home to the mighty Wycombe!0
