****Charlton Life 2012/13 Shirt Sponsorship Scheme - Payments!!!****

It’s that time again when we’re shaking our virtual buckets to ask for dosh for the Charlton Life Shirt Sponsorship scheme.

Last year an impressive 150 lifers were generous enough to contribute and allow us to sponsor 8 players for the 11/12 season. (Solly, Morrison, Cousins, Hollands, Green, Wagstaff, Jackson & Taylor) We managed to raise in excess of £3,000 in total for the club, in excess of £200 for the Charlton Upbeats plus an additional £1200 extra for the Upbeats through the auction of Morrison and Taylor’s shirts. (massive thanks to @weegie and @eaststandmike ) A total of 30 of the contributors won prizes in the form of dinner places, signed squad shirts and balls, and gnomes.

If you are able to contribute £20 towards the sponsorship, you will be entered twice into the end of season prize-winning draw. If you can contribute £10, you will be entered once. If you wish to contribute more you are more than welcome and will be entered in the draw accordingly.

This year @Curb_It is taking a sabbatical and @suzisausage as her apprentice, will be organising proceedings under her supervision so threats of headlocks will still remain in place as shiftiness will not be tolerated. As always, the players we sponsor will largely be determined by availability, although we have Jackson and Solly’s shirts reserved from last season but hope to add to our ever growing portfolio!

After contributing, Suzi will be in touch by private message (not the activity board) in the next week or so to confirm payment details. We are starting a little late this year so prompt response and payment would be appreciated. To keep it easier to track and monitor, would be grateful if any chit-chat posts could be kept to a separate thread. Please do not pledge if you do not have funds available.

This is a fantastic opportunity for us to collectively help both the club financially, and support the players, and it would be brilliant if we could beat last years total and perhaps even sponsor a full team!!
