Disappointed with the poor attendance on Tuesday. It was only a tenner. Made all the worse by fact Orient must have brought at least 1000. No wonder we don't have any money for a striker, midfielder and centre half. Where are the 20,000 season ticket holders from 2008/09?0

I personally think the cup games can be a drag, but it nice to see who is coming into the first team and see the new signings. Plus it's the start of the football season! How can people wait any longer!! I had to feed my football fix. And this game did nicely.
Did feel like a bit of an idiot when i got up at 90 minutes thinking there would be another leg and made my way to the exit. Then look around thinking why is noone leaving?? Felt like the biggest twat ever.0 -
I do feel as though many are overestimating the strength of the Championship.
Yes it is a step up, but how often do teams go into the Championship from League One and immediately fail? Very rarely. And we're now talking about one of the greatest League One teams of all time, and we're still fretting.
Do you all seriously think the likes of Peterborough, Barnsley, Bristol City, Huddersfield, Ipswich, Burnley etc. have anywhere near the same feel-good factor (among the team, DEFINITELY not among the bloody supporters) at the moment as Charlton?0 -
The answer is Pardew.Splodge said:Disappointed with the poor attendance on Tuesday. It was only a tenner. Made all the worse by fact Orient must have brought at least 1000. Holidays, parking worries both combined with our traditional poor record in this competition all impacted on the attendance in my opinion.Splodge said:Disappointed with the poor attendance on Tuesday. Yes. So obviously if their total attendances didn't reach our 5,000 "home" attendance, then they couldn't possibly have had more home fans than us.Mike said:
