Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the first 'proper' game of the season....Championship starts here....couple of domestic messages first of all from the team....please do not post false scores etc and we have agreed not to post the final score on the match thread heading from this season as people come on and try to follow the match after it is over if they have not been able to hear or see it or follow it live on here.
Anyway domestics out of the way lets look forward to today....I'll be happy with a point. Get teams as soon as I can.

    Hi everybody. PaddyP17 is off playing cricket, he usually updates, informed from a different perspective. I will, if everybody is happy, attempt the 'alternative perspective' (i.e different source than RM) as we usually do.
    If you're happy with that RM then forgive the inevitable typos, spelling mistakes, and slowness...I have nowhere near the typing speed of Paddy.
