UK Citizenship Test

Just took the Official Practice UK Citizenship Test. Obviously I expected to pass having been born in UK ... the pass-level is 75%.

I failed with 63% ... guess I'll be kicked out of the country soon

    How many Brit expatriates in Spain, Thailand, Portugal, France, China etc would pass a local citizen test.

    (What a lot of stupid questions. More a test of who can read and memorise meaningless trivia that a true test of what makes Britain tick. I recently rewatched an episode of the Sopranos where a Chinese guy took a stockbroker exam instead of one of the boys. I bet a lot of that goes on on the 'Know Britain Quiz'

    50% & many of those were guesses. Plainly ridiculous test that proves next to nothing.

    The true test of British citizenship would be to make the test unpassable and see the reactions upon failure. A true Brit would use the words "poppycock", "codswallop" and "I bet those Poles down the road didn't have to do such nonsense"
