Tell me, how many goals did Palace score as a result of those two wingers? Zaha played very well and Bolasie was good too, but all their trickery and running led to exactly sod all. They scored a goal from a corner and the result of poor marking. If the best player on the pitch is restricted to dinking the ball onto the goalkeeper because you've pushed them far enough towards the line then you've done your job as a full back

Okay maybe solly was alright but wilson!!!!!!!

I thought Wilson was decent. He stood Bolasie up fine and pushed him out wide. He let him get the wrong side of him once or twice which wasn't good but he used his pace to track back and move him out again. Bolasie contributed no decent crosses all night and in the end he got frustrated and had to be brought off because he was in danger of getting a red. Going forward he put in some decent balls that amounted to chances, had one great run and pass where Fuller really should have scored but put it wide and linked up well with Green, bringing him in to the game. He also showed great composure on the ball when he took it round Murray, and stayed on his feet when the little shit had a kick at him. That shot at the end was a bad decision but there we go. If one of our strikers had converted one of his passes or free kicks his marks would have shot up. That's just my view on Wilson's game though, I know a lot of people were disappointed with him. Everything I've said is backed up with evidence as I did watch him quite closely, and I think it's fair. Certainly doesn't deserve to be written off the way he has been by some

Solly 8 MOM - Zaha couldn't get past him, had to keep going to the other flank
Morrison 7 - Solid as ever, liked how he brought the ball into midfield rather than hoof it

Pritchard 5 - Like the rest of the midfield seems to be struggling with the formation
Hollands 5 - we're not getting the best out of him right now, looks confused
Stephens 7 - best game for a while
Jackson 5 - he's not got going this year yet
Kermorgant 5 - poor game, seemed to forget to work hard too
Wright Phillips 7.5 - worked his socks off, didn't stop running - no service though

Wilson 6 - poor defensively but looked better coming forward.
Fuller 7 - his presence changed the game but poor miss

Hamer - 7 One fumble, but otherwise good
Solly - 7 Positive going forwad, switched sides well.
Morrison - 7 Decent showing
Cort - 7 Massive, nothing passes him
Pritchard - 3 Triple frightmare, just seemed too much for him
Hollands - 5 Poor, game passed him by
Stephens - 5 One misplace pass after another.
Jackson - 5 Out of position, lost his man constantly and gave the ball away under no pressure.
Kermorgant - 7 The amount he won in the air was amazing
Wright Phillips - 7 Terrifying in full flight.

Wilson did well, Green was excellent, Fuller got into the right places but it didn't come off. Wiggins was getting ripped up before he came off. Funny game, flat crowd, flat performance, but we were unlucky to come away with nothing.

Kermorgant 5 Worst game for Charlton. Didn't win a lot tonight.
Wright Phillips 6 Did Ok & of course should have had a goal.

Wilson 6 Did quite well. I can't understand all the criticism. I really can't.
Fuller 7.5 Changed the game for the 2nd game running. Class above the rest.

You really are missing something sitting behind the goal And what were they giving you in the Lib before the game?

Stephens was the only one in the midfield with any drive. Tracking back, composed on the ball, interceptions, tackling, some good passes (albeit a few poor ones also). With Solly and Hamer was one of our best players.I thought Hollands was the better player but from what I've seem so far this I may be changing my opinion.

Agree with you regarding Wilson though.. but was concentrating on him going forward more.
