TBH i thought he caught it really well, just a shame it was 30 feet too high and 20 feet too wide !.JollyRobin said:How stupendously ridiculous was Ben Hamer's attempted overhead kick.
Only problem is, Hamer, apparently, is a bit of a knob . Just what i've heard like.Dont know him personally.0 -

I think it would have probably gone in had it actually hit his headkentaddick said:Hamer is as mad as a bag of frogs - like all good goalkeepers. Big jolly character and it would have been a legendary moment that would have lived long in our history if he had put it a few inches to the right or left of the man on the post. Was a top header

Still keep running it over in my head. How good if that would have gone in. I would have some how made my way onto the pitch from the upper north.
Ben hamer whhooooaaaa

He hates the palace scum0 -
I think I'd have passed out if he scored
I think if the overhead had gone it it would have been disallowed cos he was inches from taking a palace players head off and I don't think our fans ever look at the officials to check a goal is legit BWP's goal a prime example but I suppose that comes from running the line for a few years as a rubber dub0 -

If you had been watching Charlton for as long as some of us on here, you'll know it never always used to be that way.dave85 said:a good old fashioned relegation dog fight is always better than a boring mid table finish. only problem is we always lose basement battles.
