Should we take a chance?

If we took a chance do you think he would work out?

Would Robbie like a move to London Town?

Think Robbie would be a great signing for us.

    no no and NO !

Fowler was a very very talented player. But he never really had the right lifestyle to have a sustained career, and serious injuries have had a real toll on him. There is no way he would be able to stay fit enough to play consistently.

It would be a backward move to me, not a forward one.

Fowler should go to Sydney, got to be lots of property opportunities there, sunshine, etc I know where I'd rather go.

No, he's proven at Man City and latterly at Liverpool that he hasn't got it any more and isn't interested in rediscovering it, too many late nights and the temptation would be that playing for a London club he'd spend his spare time in London's clubs.

Always found it funny when he left Liverpool, Chelsea were seriously after him but he wasn't that keen bcause they're weren't really going anywhere. As soon as leeds come in, he jumped it at as he could see they were up and coming and going on to great things.

    Hmmm

Most definitely JFH in my mind. He's so much money he will not give a flying playing in the Champs. Let Cardiff have him.

well he's signed for Cardiff for a reported £25k a week and a nice big house.

Lets see if he justifies that outlay, i personally don't think he will.

Fowler will be a disaster and Cardiff are mugs for paying him that sort of dough. The fact that nobody in the Prem would go near him should tell you all you need to know about Mr. Fowler's abilities at this stage of his career. The bloke can basically no longer run, he was not the quickest at the peak of his powers but now he lumbers round like a knackered horse and could probably not even outpace a non-league defence let alone the CCC level.

Yes, I know he HAS been a great player but his peak was between 91-96, after that he went downhill rapidly as a result of bad injuries and poor "lifestyle" choices. I have got mates who are Leeds fans who say that they could not believe how bad he was when he was there, they were too gobsmacked to even boo him because they thought he must have been injured and playing through it because he was so immobile.

Definitely not what we need and I would be surprised if he were still at Cardiff for the second year of his contract.

That's Peter Risdale "living the dream" at Cardiff, then. Couldn't happen to a nicer club.

Read this morning that Fowler is out injured with a thigh injury, hasn't played a game yet, and is splashed all over the Cardiff press photographed hammered out on the lash when injured....
