Any plans ?

Or maybe it could move to the West End?

Well, the BBC had that Charlton fan in their street opera, but "City Addicks: The Musical"? Lloyd-Webber may be desperate, but I'm not sure that the idea has legs.

    Was thinking about this yesterday.

Time for Curb_It to get a player in a headlock to come along! ;o)

A recent ex-player would be good - someone like Herman would be value.

Of course, the money-grabbing shitpots would be highly unlikely to give up any of their valuable time for us.

    It's the very same.

But as we're all Charlton together you can call him Omukama Solomon Agutamba for short

I think he answers to Ola, if you know him well enough.

In fact, he answers to most names - on account of the 250 different passports he has on him at any one time.

  • Kinsella would be a good guest.

Plenty of stories to tell about the past plus he is part of the current set up.

The problem with people still linked to the club is that they - rightly - can't really tell any proper stories and the like, they have to play it with a bit of a straight bat.

Ex-players don't really have those constraints. Paul Mortimer would be a good guest!

Sorry people, you pushed me into action.. i had been thinking about it but kind of got my mind elsewhere at the minute.

Anyway the date is set for Thursday 20th September. Dave White chairing as usual and i shall announce guests as soon as i get them... which always proves fecking difficult!!! Booking the pub and the chairman is the easy bit!

lol - Knowing us we will end up somewhere in the NW. I am actually good with directions but after a few beers, a half bottle of vodka and with curb it souding so positive ...........

they were curb_its "short cut tips" that i was following.

I'm good at directions too, but when you have you guys singing in the back seat of my car, hammered by the time we past milton keynes, (after 8 loo stops) finding my own directions after curb_it stating "i've been to liverpool loads of times this is a short cut" who was i to argue?

I still laugh thinkin' about the ex's face, when i sat in the seat at the ground and laughed so hard at the hilarity of it all. he hated football. haha.

that story is legendary and i can laugh now.

very shame faced at the time when i think of making you all missing the first half cos of my A50 or is it A500 short cut across stoke. which one is it?

and I felt even worse when suzi could have got her Jills FA ticket if she had an everton stub. at least we got in for free on the night i suppose.

if I ever volunteer to drive Curb_it to Everton, I'll be sure to use it.....!
or just stick to the M6.....

I remember 1905 calling Steve Dowman on the way up asking him for directions and him just saying "oh you've gone too far" 1905 saying "we've realised that, where do we go now?" whilst Curb_it insisted on singing some random marching type song! and the ex in the front shaking his head wondering why the hell he agreed to come!

still, sat with the Jills that game with about 20 other charlton fans, stood up accidentally when our goal went in and left 10 mins before the end shamefaced and asking people to move out the way when they blatentaly knew we were charlton.
