So now you can say you hate someone unless you actually want them dead?

I don't want to hear anyone saying they love Chris Powell unless they are will cook his meals, do his ironing, wash his smalls and have his babies!

What's all this HATE .. f f s there is enough trouble in the world without encouraging people to grit their teeth, clench their fists and think about HATRED

Just a turn of phrase mate and you know it. Chill.

dislike or despise .. but hate ? .. hate to me implies you want to see someone done to death .. this is a football site not the forum for the Nazi party
Lincs, do you hate Hitler or dislike him?
what a ridiculous question .. Hitler is DEAD .. There is a time and a place for HATRED .. that place is not a football club forum nor is it justified to HATE someone who indulges in someting as inconsequential as sport. If someone massacred your family in front of your eyes after raping your wife and daughter, there would be cause to HATE them .. to encourage someone to think about who they HATE for no really valid reason, is, in my opinion extremely mischevious and childish
If only it had the word 'Hate' in the thread title, then you wouldn't have been so surprised and upset when you opened it, hold on.....

I know many ladies of all ages who, by your definition, love Chris Powell.

Grasshopper ... love is all embracing, fulfilling and makes us human, part of the universe .. Hate fills your soul with bile, with muck and makes it so you can't shit !..

    ANYWAY
I'm sure Mrs Powell takes good care of all Chris's physical and emotional needs .. or if Chris is on a right good earner, the maid and butler help out as well

Lol, some people really do have an odd way of entertaining themselves. How do you gain anything from keyboard arguments, boring!

    Also, El Hadji Diouf

@Uboat Heydrich was not a sports person. Albeit he probably wished he could take a corner like Jenson Button.

  • Cant say I can really hate anyone I dont know, but certainly a strong sporting dislike for....

    - Muscat (Matt Holmes would have been a CAFC cult legend a la Robbo if not for that tackle)
    - Schumacher (cheated Hill out of the 94 title)
    - Fernando Alonso (couldnt take getting beaten by a 21 year old Hamilton in 2007 and threw toys out the pram)

'Fiercely self-driven he also displayed natural athletic ability, especially in the art of fencing for which he received several awards.'

lol ... Just for my part I am thoroughly pissed off with all the negativity in the world ... Equally, I apologise for any upset caused to you CA .. I'm sure you used the word in a jocular way rather than intending to cause offence.

This. I hear a lot of people say they can't stand Mickelson but I thought he showed great sportsmanship on sunday
  • Christiano Ronaldo who consistently pushes the boundaries of sportsmanship and feels no shame.

Bloke 25 years ago who used false ID to beat my mates in a status rowing event but got recognised. Forgot his name, but you know who you are!

and Tiger conceding that last putt confuses me. Are Yanks part of the human race after all?
