There's no reason to panic. It is early and, while winning is obviously preferable,
these losses are not terminal. As another poster correctly stated, we have not been
smashed in any game. The problems are fixable.
  • as long as you learn from it. dont just shrug it off.
  • It does seem like any team can beat any other in this league. Some weird results all round. Even Palace are in a play-off spot right now and Peterborough have won their last two having lost 7 on the bounce.

You say anyone can beat anyone, but more concerning for us is that we have only beaten Leicester (somewhat luckily) and Ipswich, who are struggling. We have failed to beat Hull, Palace, Blackburn & Watford at home, and not won at Birmingham, Forest, Derby. I worry about us for the rest of this month. If we don't beat Barnsley, and it's not a given with our current home form, we could finish October with 9 points and bottom of the table, as can we really see us getting anything at Blackpool, Leeds or Wolves?

We haven't had the rub of the green to be fair - but we have also contributed to our downfall - the mistakes have to be cut down and Sir Chris has to learn too - he made some clear errors yesterday IMO. But not saying he isn't a great manager because I think he is. Definitely not time to panic.

I think we should stick to tradition and sack him in November if things aren't going well, then put his number 2 in charge...third time lucky...

Agree to some extent we had good goals against Palace and Hull disallowed but what concerns me is that when things are not going right like last night we don't seem to be able to change things enough to make a difference. This is partly due to the players available and more worryingly a lack of ideas from the coaching team. Lets hope they get it right soon.
  • Look all of the we are hard done by needs to be forgotten as in life you make your own luck

We lost because SCP failed to make an impact in the game with his subs

The most obvious choice was Hollands he was not at the races

Powell knows this as he subbed him far too late and IMO for the wrong midfielder

On sat against ince he better have learned from last night otherwise we are fooked

We need our cm not to hide and to play the ball in the right direction

We need a lb at lb

That and an arm around BWP from either the coaching staff or his dad not to panic and focus on technique

Can't say I disagree NLA it appears that CP (I don't do the "Sir" thing) is a bit indecisive when it comes to subs and certainly last night Hollands was not playing well. This lad from Man City is supposed to be a box to box midfielder and by all accounts is very good player so it sounds to me like he was exactly what we needed. Much as I like Pritchard as a lad I am becoming convinced that at this level he is out of his depth...at least for now.
