I was interested to see on another thread that #smudge7946 cited Terry Brisley as an unsung hero. I know that he played for us, and I'm sure I must have seen him, but for me he will always be associated with Orient.

    B@llocks. Stupid statement.
    He was a top player when he left us, hence the fee Chelsea paid. (10 mill)
    Was also at Newcastle (6.5 mill) before the Hammers (7 mill).
    Went to Spurs for 5.5 mill.

    So how exactly to west ham make him the player he is today?

    I agree with most of those moutuakilla, but for me Darren Bent will always be one of us. He just happens to have played for other teams for a while now, that's all.
