If anyone wants to join me, I'm holding a 'Keep Chris Powell' march tomorrow night.

It'll be at around 7:15pm, beginning at Charlton station and finishing at the burger stand behind the north stand. There I shall consume a hot dog in his honour, before entering the ground.

    Who's with me?!

If you really want to silence the 'Powell out' brigade (that don't exist), maybe just turn your overactive imaginations to something else?

Oh they're out there alright daveyd - and you don't have to look too far to find them. Luckilly most people tend to ignore them, but you can't deny they exist.

a good easy of showing the board and the team that we are behind Chris is the chant 'stand up, if you love Chris powell'. the whole stadium stood for the champions against hartlepool last season, lets do the same for cp.

seems a bit gay to me - more comfortable with a sustained chant of chrissy powells red and white army.

Why are we doing this when there has been no credible talk of CP getting the boot? Surely making a special effort tonight just means that many of us fail to be noisy and passionate on any other match day.

ps. I never fail to be noisy and passionate.

It sends a message to the club the team and the man we are behind him.... (that seem a bit gay to?!) :-)

B.D I dont know if the rumours of TJ and Powell unrest are true, Some people who have worked for the club seem to think there is a big problem. I just think It would be a boost to all concerned.

fair enough - not a dig at you or gay people - i just think that song, even when it is 'if u love charlton' is utterly cringeworthy and ranks right up therea s one of the most embarrassing of all time

  • I occasionally pop on the millwall site and have a good old chuckle at their infighting about jackett

Get behind the manager ffs, not just on tuesday, not just till December, for the rest of the season and beyond there isn't anyone I would rather managing this side at the moment

We have I think 6 championship level players in this squad - Morrison, Cort, Yann, Wiggins, Solly and Fuller

If we can get all those players in the side and fit I think we will be fine and if there are funds for a centre midfielder in January all the better

One thing I have noticed having read this site this morning for the first time since the game we have some of the wettest defeatest moronic supporters in the country

    Man up

We need to show our support tonight to Chris Powell and let the board and media know how we feel about CP.

I'm still not doing that 'stand up if you...' thing.
  • Perhaps when PA announcement takes place relating to knowing where we are and what we have to do, perhaps the "knowing what we have to do" bit could be aimed at the team?

Because I tried that angle when asking to join the forum...finally got in with "I know a man that knows someone that used to work with someone that might have known someone who was once a Charlton ball boy" followed up with "I tend to be angry and stressed when we lose"

What time was this? There was a Charlton fan on TalkSport when I was driving home tonight who said he feared CP would be given the boot by Jimenez and naming Wise as a possible replacement. SSN could have picked it up from there.
  • Wise and TJ are in court during the arse off each other why would we see wise here
