    On holiday once in the bahamas, my missus got mixed up and instead of ordering jerk chicken, instead ordered Chicken, Jerk. The server was more than a little surprised. :-)

    Does anyone know where I can get some decent Jamaican Patties. I Live near Maidstone. Do any of the supermarkets sell them? Any help would be appreciated.

    You can find them in the world food aisle they have in most supermarkets these days.

    I bought a couple of Ginster's Beef Madras yesterday. They are on the 'best seller' cool shelf in ASDA. I'm having one for lunch later. I'll report back !!

    Other half just brought me 5 back from Asda, that's the fridge sorted for the next week

    I owe DA9 a big 'THANK YOU' ... Ginster Beef Madras pasties are deeeelicious .. flaky pastry, just enough gravy, not too hot a sauce yet packs a punch .. I had mine with no side dish and no extra sauce or relish .... all in all a marvelous addition to the ever expanding Ginster range .. one problem .. quite a high fat & salt content for those who are on cholestorol and high blood pressure watch .. overall value for £1 .. terrific 9.5/10, a worthy rival to Jamaica Patties, though subltly different in texture & content. Great stuff.
