One of our group needs a ticket and the chances of them selling us an u16 on the door are very slim, all 24+

He's even cheaper than I am, such a tight arse. There is no way they'll get in as U16 anyway, well not unless they look about 14 and are a dwarf.
  • Gutted i have missed that one.

I'm confused, is someone that is over 24 asking someone else to buy them an under 16?

  • It weren't exactly expensive in the first place for an adult by comparison to some other clubs prices.
Infact an adult tickets look pretty cheap.

Prior it ain't a case of being tight. It's an expensive game that's becoming less and less a working man's one. Wait til u have a mortgage etc to pay and see if u can go every week paying full price and still having enough change to have a few beers an a night out.
  • You're gonna have to choose. Charlton or your house.

No, it's a case of fraud. You sicken me.

  • I have bought kids tickets to most away games and i'm nearing my 30's! Everyone is at it - why not if you can. It's rarely policed and until it is, i'll continue to do it. Less money in the opposition coffers too! Until sensible pricing comes in, i'll continue to do it.

I bought kids tickets until I was 40. Then I moved on to OAP tickets :-) Joke !

I hasten to add that The Organiser is part of my lot going Sunday! Everyone does it. The likes of Utd bundle through with one another if they haven't got tickets. Anyway, cheaper ticket = more beer money. It's common sense not fraud.

You joke - but that's exactly what I'm planning to do! The introduction of barcodes on tickets has only made our lives easier!
  • Well anouncing it on here that loads are doing
It one way to ensure it soon gets stopped or things bought in to control it

Sometimes i do shake me head in disbelief

Doing clubs out of revenue explicitly and then expecting them to reduce prices - that's not common sense.

I just don't get it, maybe I'm stupid for paying what I should for things but it would just never enter my mind to buy a kids ticket.
