CORRUPT CONSPIRACY THEORY

Looking back on Tuesday night I am convinced that there was a corrupt conspiracy theory when the official added 6 minutes without justified reason. They knew it would give us panic which it did and give Cardiff a lift which it did. Anything to help the higher teams in the division. The officials must have been licking their lips when their 4th went in but must have trudged off gutted they didn't pull it off. This sort of thing needs to stop. Corruption of the highest order!

Already two threads on how much extra time there was.

If the ref was so corrupt he could have disallowed our first goal for a foul on the keeper or not given the free kick for Stephens goal

    We won, move on.

Agree. The amount of added time was odd though. The bottom line is, we should be able to defend a 3 goal lead for the last 6 mins though.

What if he was trying for a 5-5 result? ; )

    I make '81 right.

After all it was a decent finish from the ref for the 4th goal - particularly as it was his right foot.

i saw the ref chuck away his betting slip as he was getting into his car mumbling " i would've won if it hadn't been for those pesky Charlton players".

    allegedly.

In the last 2 home games both away teams have been out and waiting for us. We then run out and do a stupid run round some cones. Appears to me that halftime at the valley is 17 mins long. Therefore we always finish on a Saturday at 5.57pm...or last, home and away.

I see draw 5-5 away at Bristol Rovers, we were 5-3 up with 20 minutes to go.

Even if there was a conspiracy (which there clearly wasn't) then I think the ref would have probably given up the hope of it at 5-2 after 90 minutes.
