Winning 4-3 after being 3-0 down up at Newcastle will always bring me happy memories.
For the stature of the game how about Liverpool's comeback in the 2005 Champions League final?0 -

I would say that coming back from 6-0 down is pretty amazing no matter what level of football we are talking about.Off_it said:

What's wrong Off it? Maybe we can help.0 -
Eh?
I thought the original post was asking if this was the greatest comeback ever?
It's certainly a good comeback but in my opinion the match Stig refers to was a greater comeback - and that's only partly tainted by the fact that it was us.
Hope that makes things clearer for you all.

Sorry, Off it. My mistake, although having just read your comment on the club badge thread I stand by the general sentiment of my post.0

Fair play. Apart from a couple of posters I genuinely don't remember, or care, who has said what most of the time.0

Sorry Off it, I misunderstood your posting. I thought you were responding to my comment about it being "amazing" and not the question in the title as to whether it is football's greatest comeback.Off_it said:Eh?
