  • Interesting thoughts AFKA. I think you are right; the existing board would never sell unless they were convinced it was in the long term interests of the club. As you suggest, the time is probably right for people like Richard Murray to step aside & for new investors to come in. But with the majority of the existing board carrying on. Bring it on!!

    Just saw this in the Kent messenger, sounds encouraging to me....

    From an interview with Pards today...

    "What we're talking about is not so much a takeover - rather an investment in the club. So I'm hoping the chairman (Richard Murray) will stay intact.

    "All being well, it will not affect us. We welcome extra money and extra investment."
