Could they not have snipped a minute off their coverage of Bristol City v Man City and shown our first two goals?

    Yeh they showed a 5 minute advert for the rugby world cup though !!! Mind you they have just said they will feature the Palcace v Charlton game as thier main game on the Championship show.

    The rugby thing really got up my nose. A quick thirty second trail I can put up with, but that was ridiculous. I sent a snitty comment to the ITV sport contact us page.

    Was very poor and rushed and we were well down the pecking order but it's all about ratings which is why Premier teams were used to maximise viewing figures, that's the way it is, the championship show is a different kettle of fish and they probably expect or have different viewing figures for this as well, the commercial department will/might charge less because for advertising it's a sunday show and not premier footy,just my view.
    Know how people feel who might not have been or want to watch it again,still make sure you set your alarm for sunday morning, it starts at 10am.
    i'm going to record it and play spot the charlton lifer...

    ITV suck at football FACT. They screwed up their version of Match of the Day. They are crap with England games and this "Highlights" show just about takes the biscuit. Total shite.

    But they're not bothered, it's lip service and it won't change, it's utter rubbish, i only watched out of curiosity but won't bother again.
    Also in this day and age tuesday highlights on a wednesday is a load of rubbish, and wait till midnight.
    I'm not interested in copyright bollocks or whatever the excuse is let's see the bloody game when we want to.

    They really should show all the goals, especially when they are as good as Todorov's. I like the way the Stockport keeper signalled that Lloyd Sams shot was going wide :-)

    To be honest we are gettting better coverage on Meridan Tonight News than anywhere else at the moment.

    So anyone living in the Meridan (Kent, Sussex, A bit of Essex I think too Etc) area Sky + it on a Monday after a game at the weekend or the day after a midweek game (6pm showing!)

    Added bonus is the sports presenter on there likes us! Makes a change I know..

    Not necessarily- more people would be working/ having lives than spending a whole hour watching SSN in the hope they'd show our goals. (I missed them, but the Lloyd Sam goal was a "and look at this keeper making an arse of himself!" piece at the top of an hour yesterday morning.)

    I suspect it's just not worth it for ITV to show a League Cup highlights show on the Tuesday.

    Probably their only chance to push CL and rugby coverage to a captive audience. After all, when was the last time you watched ITV1?

    Sky had a round up show tonight and showed all the goals from all the games, both Tuesday and Wednesday.
