the Move had the 'honour' of their record (Flowers in the Rain) being the 1st ever played on Wonderful Radio 10

And didnt see a penny of the royalties after Harold Wilson had finished with them.Lincsaddick said:the Move had the 'honour' of their record (Flowers in the Rain) being the 1st ever played on Wonderful Radio 1

Can't understand why - with your charm and wit I'd have thought employers would be falling over themselves...maybe_baby said:

I thought it was Blackberry Way, but this probably belongs in the "things that make you feel old" threadLincsaddick said:the Move had the 'honour' of their record (Flowers in the Rain) being the 1st ever played on Wonderful Radio 1

my oracle (a k a Wikipedia) tells me that Flowers was released in summer '67, Blackberry in summer '68. Night of fear was the move's first hit, before the days of Blackburn (NOT the Rovers), Roscoe and wunnerful fab radio 1. The Move were a cracking group in the days before groups became 'bands'HugoZHackenbush said:
