2012 xmas pressie thread

It's December so we're allowed to talk about this now, right?

My boy is well into Transformers, want to get him some for xmas but there seem to be around 4 variants of the detailed type

I want to get him one set so he can collect but which?

Prime deluxe
Cyberverse
Prime voyager
Prime robots in disguise

Any parents out there with same or similar dilemma?

My daughters birthday is 29/11 so we get Xmas and Bday in one hit.

Don't go to Hamleys - rip off central.

Smyths at North Woolwich is much better than the Charlton one. As is the one at Thurrock.

My kids are grown up now (31 and 29) but I have fond and sometimes bitter memories of trying to buy them:

    - Transformers
    - WWF wrestling ring and figures
    - He-Man and the Masters of the universe figures and outfits
    - Thundercats stuff
    - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles gear

Any other dads whose sons were born in 1981-1983 or thereabout will share my feelings!

Treasure the times though Raz and others, they grow up very quickly.
  • Got my mum a 42' plasma hd. She seems happy. The ms' has demanded a Tom Tom and then asked if a globe was ok for me. Lol

My son plays with my old masters of the universe figures. My mum kept them and brought them over last summer for him.
