Fans can take advantage of an offer between competition sponsors Budweiser and The Sun, which is offering two adult tickets for £19.50.
The Sun will be printing vouchers in the paper every day for a week starting on Saturday, December 15th and supporters need three of the six to be eligible for the discount.0 -
The worst paper in the world and the worst beer. Talk about cheapening the CAFC brand.0
-
might go the voucher route even though I despise buying the sun.0
-
I have no idea about the offer but my guess would be that this is not only for Charlton.Jints said:The worst paper in the world and the worst beer. Talk about cheapening the CAFC brand.
Plus whatever you think of the companies sponsoring this offer if it means you can save £10.50 for two tickets then who gives a shit.

Pricing seems sensible to me. I'd have been inclined towards £10 behind the goals, but thinking about I believe the FA brought in a minimum adult price of £15 for the third round onwards last season.
Good luck to the staff with the voucher promotion!0 -
Agree. Just wanted to get a cheap shot in.southamptonaddick said:

Quite apt considering we must be the worst cup side in the country.Jints said:The worst paper in the world and the worst beer.

£15 is too much. They'll be 7,000 maximum in the stadium. Given it's a very humdrum draw, against a team we play in the league and have done so for 4 consecutive seasons, I would have thought the club would charge £10 & £5. That said, there are restrictions and Huddersfield have to agree to prices for various reasons, distribution of income, and ticket prices for a replay0
-
We've got Hull away on 5th round day, so I looked up their record to see what the chances were that they'd get that far (as we'll definately be out by then) and I reckon they're the only club in the country with a worst record than us, literally out of every competition in the first round of entry for about six years !Bedsaddick said:

If that's the case, the club's hands are tied.Airman Brown said:..... I believe the FA brought in a minimum adult price of £15 for the third round onwards last season.

Lucky to hit 10,000 this one. As I have not seen a good FA Cup tie at the Valley for 30 years, I am out.0
-
In the mid-90s .......cracking game at The Valley, Soapy - when we beat then Prem side Sheff Weds 2-0.0
-
Brentford 3-2. Still get goosebumps thinking about the loud thud on the post when White scored from THAT last minute free kick which sent the covered end into raptures.0
-
At that price the 4 of us r out!0
-
You'll just have to buy the super throwaway Scum, and get your vouchers.
2 tickets for £19.50.0 -
I would like to think that the 5000 or so that went to Fulham for £15 quid last year will go to this game, but that is only what I'd like to think......0

Cheer up, Soapy. Perhaps you'd rather go shopping?

It's a cup tie against a northern team in the same division and would be under 8k at £10 or £15
I honestly think we would struggle to get our normal crowd if it was £5
Think the price is about right this one is for the diehards where price isn't as much of an issue0 -
True to form though it'll be a mind numbing under acheivement of a game. I have arranged tens of trips to the Valley for family and friends on 3rd round day and have 90% of the time come away feeling like i would rather be trapped inside Bluewater for eternity.0
-
With you. Great game, that one. The first game was snowed off, so it was an evening game. I think Brentford took the whole of the Jimmy Seed.bolloxbolder said:Brentford 3-2. You only save £10.50 if you already buy the Sun! £19.50 for two is decent enough though.southamptonaddick said:
