All this from someone seeing someone who looked foriegn in the directors box...you couldnt make it up.

Not quite that David. There's is more substance to this rumour than just a foreign looking gentleman in the Directors Box.
He was in the gents as well?

They will be the first time they do something the CL clique don't like! ;-)

Presumably Due Diligence is happening now - so it is expected to go quiet for a little while

    Could well be. Fingers crossed.

Last I heard was on the same day being told the deal was done and then that there was serious interest but no deal was close.

You pays your money and you takes your pick.

until you see it on the OS of course : - )

Either things have gone quiet because things are happening -

Or it was all a tale of Koc and bull.....

Could it have gone quiet because the initial noise may have been imaginary?

    Precisely my point.

We shall see - personally, I hope that it's gone quiet because they are busy raking huge piles of cash together for our January transfer war chest. Well, you never know, do you?

Great, CL takes a break from self flagellation over racism, homophobia, football hoolism and we pitch straight back into the old rumored takeover hell.

No. They were in the directors' box and the story came from multiple sources who were in there with them.

    Best we hurry up then!

    Brighton won't need asking twice.

    Make you own mind up.

Discussions ongoing and remain positive I am lead to believe.

Transfer funds available in January regardless.

Not a business head at all. Would it be normal to make two offers ? Seems daft to me.

Maybe one is buy Slater's share, the other is to buy out everyone?

  • Just hope some lessons were learnt during the failed negotiations with Villa over the Stephens transfer, and we don't get too greedy...
