Our bedroom is on the top floor of our house (3 floors) and due to the high ceilings and the raised floor in the bedroom the view is tree top level (our own trees) with a glorious backdrop of Canadian Redwoods. Hard to describe the view but it is basically WOW! laying in bed with the missus this morning, she said "It's like being in the canopy of a forest, what could be better" I thought for a moment then said "A tree house" Well the best tree I can see for this is a mature Magnolia. What I want to know is, will I damage the tree if I go ahead with this childhood dream?

I'd love to live in a tree house.
Meanwhile, I live in an old cottage made of sticks and stones.
It'll do for now.

I thought Canadian Redwoods and Magnolias grew at opposite ends of the USA.
That must be some estate you've got Maybe0 -
We have a Holly tree also...but alas no big estate, just a modest half acre.Addickted said:I thought Canadian Redwoods and Magnolias grew at opposite ends of the USA.
