    We invented " THE SPITFIRE", the best plane and beer ever!! Also invented the TV, football, golf, tennis, cricket.... We also invented winning wars(or at least know how to).
    Where would they be without us?

    Not only did Tim invent the internet but he did so for the greater good rather than make money from it. Yanks wouldn't understand that.

    Sorry guys, you're wrong. Tim Berners-Lee didn't invent the internet, he invented the worldwide web. Although we use the terms interchangeably, the web's just a subset of the internet. IIRC the internet started off as a US military thing.
