It's a screen grab from YouTube not Twitter. Sorry don't want to appear like a pedantic arse, it's the graphic designer in me.

Either way, this is bloody excellent.

We invented " THE SPITFIRE", the best plane and beer ever!! Also invented the TV, football, golf, tennis, cricket.... We also invented winning wars(or at least know how to).
Where would they be without us?

    TV was scottish wasn't it.

Americans remind me of Palace - deluded, annoying and mostly stupid.
  • Good lord. I've never ventured into the comments section on there before and don't think I will bother again given the lovely sentiments expressed on there.

  • Not only did Tim invent the internet but he did so for the greater good rather than make money from it. Yanks wouldn't understand that.
  • The greater good being free porn I take it :-)

You think it's free but suddenly a huge debit appears on your bill that you're too embarrased to query!

Sorry guys, you're wrong. Tim Berners-Lee didn't invent the internet, he invented the worldwide web. Although we use the terms interchangeably, the web's just a subset of the internet. IIRC the internet started off as a US military thing.

Not meant to spoil your fun Oggy, I like a bit of juvenile point scoring as much as the next Charlton fan. It's just that you tend to lose the highground if your point is factually inaccurate. :-)
