    True. The Internet as you know it was 'invented' by DARPA (Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency). However, that's only the gubbins that holds it all together in the background. TBL did indeed invent the stuff that makes everything you actually 'see' when you're on the internet work. Although Vint Cerf also has a big claim to 'the internet'
