Newcastle are through in the League Cup and unbeaten in UEFA Cup but haven't won in the Prem for 7 games.
Blackburn poor in the league but going great guns in the UEFA Cup too.
Man U unstoppable in the league but scraped past Crewe and dumped by Southend.
Southend bottom of the Championship but beat Man U.
Chesterfield struggling in League 1 but beat two Prem teams and take us to pens.
We are bottom of the league but through to QFs of cup.
Celtic have already won the SPL (accoring to Paddy Power) but dumped out of the cup by Falkirk.
West Ham ... er .... well they must be the exception that proves the rule!

Don't want to put a dampner on things, but didn't Middlesbrough win the LC (or at leasat get to the final) and get relegated the same season? Or am I dreaming this...?

They got to the final of the league and FA cups, lost them both and got relegated
