Sorry to hear that. We are of course only too aware. I just wondered if there was anything that you knew, that hadn't already "come out". All the best.cafcledbury said:on the train to palace train stoped at the station doors open then got battered there was a lad about 14 ish with a shirt and flag get smashed.i was headbutted and punched.dont get me wrong i can take a kicking if i desvere it but i did not nor did the women and kids that witnessed it

You've obviously not seen the warning on the OS , CECovered End said:I shall be going and am very pleased to here that there won't be a queue in the ground for a beer & burger. Brilliant !
You will be refused the purchase of a burger unless your BMI is within certain parameters.....Expect to be weighed & measured.

If we win it will be worth every penny , and you can say do you remember when we stuffed Palace and i was there to see it.
If we lose ... well at least we can moan about the price , and what rip off merchants that Croydon lot are.
I've spent more dosh on worst things to be honest , i'm sure i had a shell tracksuit at one point in the 80's! :-0

Blimey , i got eh 'invited' onto that carriage but chose not to get on it, thought it seemed dodgy at the time, sorry to hear that mate.cafcledbury said:i want to go but last time i went i was one of the people smashed up on the train.so i am uming and r ing about it the money not the problem i pay £100 a ticket just to beat them so there fans go home pxxxed off after spending all there money on travel tickets programs food and beer.

What do you mean MIA ? It seemed dodgy ?0

Well i got to the platform and there were a group of lads hanging out of the train doors ushering us to come inside , couldn't see they were even wearing Charlton colours , i smelt a rat , and when i heard later there'd been trouble on the train i was on i realised i'd had a narrow escape.0
-
But all the Palace "rushed" the train at Sydenham, wasn't it ?0
-
I went to Sellout when the Dons had thankfully already relegated us in the 90s and hated every minute as we lost 2-0 without a whimper and will be there again next month expecting similar fare. Just hate them.0

am sorry mia but that carrige was full of charlton fans and fair few non football passengers it was mainly young lads about 14 to 16 wearing shirts.there were some older lads as well at the front of the carrige.when we stoped at the staiton the doors opened the people at the front of the carrige took the worse beating then they walked up the carrige smacking anyone they thought were charlton.they was just a bunch of cowards picking on kids am notsaying am hard but i can stand my ground but 30 to 40 on to a few you no your on for a hiding. i wasted alot of money that day a train ticket from hereford /football ticket did not see the game /hotel /never mind these things happen onwards and upwards.at least i can think back to myself when we sent them down.i was there amazing chuckle chuckle0

Sums them up0

800 sold before release to ST holders - atleast it looks as though we will sell all of our initial allocation.
Am I right in thinking the away supporters have been moved to the far right hand side of the usual stand?0 -
I'm a normal ST holder with a few aways and I got my tickets a couple of days backjamescafc said:800 sold before release to ST holders - atleast it looks as though we will sell all of our initial allocation.

Approx 1,800 left then. Will sell out no worries.0
-
That is correct. We will be at the Sainsbury's end of the Arthur Waite Stand rather than the Holmesdale End.jamescafc said:

I presume this is so that we don't have to suffer initimidation at the hands of the terrifying Holmesdale Fanatics.0 -

We'll sell out easily if we've already sold 800.0 -
When i got to the train station at Palaces ground , i thought i'd walked into a warzone , coppers with rifles etc , bit intimidating, although they did have video cams on their hats which was reassuring , obviously looking for a few more you tube hits.0
-
There was definetly no one 'up for it' on that carriage. I was in the carriage behind with some raucous teenagers who would have got a right hiding if we'd been one carriage further up.
Shame those scummy Palace fans couldn't turn up for the real meet they arranged.0 -
Anyone who thinks the price for this is steep, check out what Man City fans are being charged by Arsenal........£62.00!!!!!0
-
Kids tickets if you can't afford £32. Easy0
-
When they fly through windows at McDonald's or get digged up at charlton station shed no tears for the freaks0
-
We will sell out with consummate ease. And win.Chris_from_Sidcup said:Why will we take a piss poor following?
Already over 500 sold from restricted sale and still nearly a month to go.

I thought United charging West Ham fans £45 for the cup replay (when their fans were charged £20 at Upton Park) was bad but that is absolutely ridiculous. City should've made a stand and done a complete boycott and sent the lot back.

QPR charging Spurs fans £55 for their game on saturday, but don't worry if you are over 60 years old as its only £50 then.
Even them charging u16's £25 is scandalous.0 -
That ground is such a dump aswell, at least the emirates has cushioned seats!Folev the red said:QPR charging Spurs fans £55 for their game on saturday, but don't worry if you are over 60 years old as its only £50 then.
