I am designing my own wedding invites. I downloaded the trial version in the summer and started but ran out of time to get it totally finished.
I cant afford the extremely high price tag and cant use another free trial.
Buying a programme would defeat the object of making the invites myself for cost saving. Have attached my first rough attempt
Any ideas?

Get Baby Elvis to do it?0

Now we know the wedding is 21st September, we're all coming too.
Thanks for the invite!

Any idea how to install it? It asks for disk 2 which I can't mount.EastTerrace said:I believe CS2 is free from Adobe depending what OS you are on

mate, it's "accommodation".
do i get an invite?0 -
Photoshop has to constantly update to ensure the latest codecs for new cameras are installed. If you totally remove all trace of PS from your computer and then go to the Adobe download site, there will be a later version which you can download for another free months trial. Worked for me anyway.0

Have a look on e-bay, older versions can picked up quiet cheap, type this number in the search box 2711329995260

I also spelt the name of the venue wrong. Hence this being the rough draftMacronate said:mate, it's "accommodation".

Alternatively try the GIMP or Gimphoto - Google it. It is a free (open source) program that works the same, similar menus and it will load PS files.0

They do a cheap copy of Elements at Morgan Computers, well if £69 is cheap :-/0

If the download is in CD or DVD format you'll probably need some software to mount it so it appears like a normal disk on your computer.Friend Or Defoe said:

There's rumours that it wont run on OSX 10.6. This isn't true, but it is an utter b'stard to load. This might help: http://www.photoblog.com/forum/post/30455/Friend Or Defoe said:

If you can get it to install, I'd imagine that for for wedding invites some combination of Adobe Illustrator / Adobe In-Design, would be a better bet than Photoshop - they are both included in the CS2 Package. Failing that, I can always recommend the Gimp & Inkscape option which are both free.0 -
GIMP is just as good and free, use it all the time0

I bet you do0

Here we are. bad news is that it is £1200 plus and no web applications, that is a bit more......
I still run indesign 4, which mean that the next upgrade will mean a complete new purchase I am led to understand.
Adobe, seem to upgrade every 2 years or so, unless you are a student and get a discount it is an expensive bit of software.
The other issue is that saving down from 6 is a pain, and will not open, at least on a mac version, people like me with 4.
You can now buy it monthly from £45 ish.
You can download it as a trial free for 30 days.......

Oh by the way would advise against buying a non uk product registered software package, as Adobe uk will not support this.

Why are you getting married during the football season? Missing a game and hoping that mates will be prepared to do the same and setting yourself up for a lifetime of arguments when the anniversary clashes with a match? #notreallythoughtthatonethrough... ;-)0
