Not many going Blackburn

  • Yeah to be fair we've played them two dull north west sides so many times in the last ten years, Millwall not been to either for Donkeys. Next season they'll be lucky to reach 300 at either of them.

But as Charlton fans so regularly tell us, you're the biggest team in South London, you have a richer history than us all with multiple years in the top flight competing with the best teams, you almost average double the home crowds than your nearest & dearest.....yet you're taking 240 to Blackburn and took 650 to Bolton. I'd imagine next season providing we're still in the league we'll match that, if not better it.

We'll take over 300 to Blackburn easy what with walk-ups, not that it's much better.
Also I remember you barely making the 200 mark at Hull, a team that you've only played what 3 times away from home in the last few years? And is cheaper to get to by train.

Not forgetting we took 6k to Blackburn just 5 and a half years ago, a lot of our away supporters who travel regularly would have been there.
Still got my operation Blackburn shirt with a smiley Pardoo on the front grrr. I'll not be wearing that sat, lol. Long John's, tartan rug and flask at the ready.

"I'd say this game is unlikely to happen this weekend. Supposed to be very heavy snow on Friday night and freezing termperatures on Saturday. How will Charlton fans get to the game?"

    Hmmmm. Not confident, is he?

City are at home to Fulham for anyone wanting to see a game if ours is called off. 20 quid for an adult

if blackburn is off id imagine wigan would be too
  • Blackburn have undersoil heating so am very confident the pitch will be okay, it's the surrounding areas I am worried about. Newcastle a few years back called off for this reason

Fulham won't sell out their allocation at City, I'm sure you'd be able to get a ticket in their end
  • Glad I've not tickets yet as can't see many getting there with Fridays snow diecast?

Didn't we manage 600 odd for Oldham last year?

Gotta say, surely the 250-300 odd for Blackburn must be the lowest we've had for a Saturday away game in many years. Can't think of anything that low for us in recent history.

    Where'd you get this from?

April 2011 we had 180 there on a Saturday, were about 900 there April 2012 I think.

Not too bad really, it's Blackburn, January and we're in mid table (aswell as there being a good chance of it being off) it was only ever going to be the hardest of the hardcore and northern based Addicks going. Our followings to Carlisle and Oldham last April when we were on the brink of promotion were far more embarrassing.

Game could well be on, but the forecast tells me I will not be able to get a train to London. Do I get a rail refund if trains are cancelled because of the weather?

About 250 Palace there I reckon, pretty poor to be honest, if we were 4th in the league I'd expect us to have around 500 there.

Tuesday night in January, winter weather conditions, up early for work in the morning, haven't been paid since before Christmas ........ it might not affect so much the fan who's single, but the family man (who may well have travelled on a Saturday) perhaps decided to give it a miss?

To fair, Stoke away was short notice, ten days after the home tie.

Long time since I have seen one of those games on a white pitch with a bright orange ball. They don't do them anymore. It's all down to elf n safety you know. Might slip in the vicinity of the stadium. Was hoping to buy on the day. Now doubtful if I can swell the numbers
  • im going now last minute, my old man is driving one of the supporters coach and asked me if i wanted to go up with him, sorting tickets in the morning
