  • Just glad that someone got the references, thank you sheffieldred.

The rest of you are peasants : - )

I had a hunch you were trying to be cultural (but not as much of a hunch as Richard III obviously).

    Comfortable away win 4-0

My prediction also, backed up by the fact that I've sold my soul to the devil for these 3 points.

Can see Powell setting up not to concede, desperate for a clean sheet to give the team a bit of a boost.

Can't see it happening though, maybe we can sneak a 1-1 at the death (after leading 1-0 of course).
  • 1-1. We score in the 94th minute. Dervite og levels in the 95th.

Chris Wood missed their last game through injury. I'm hoping he'll still be out.

Pfft, 4-0 or 4-1 loss. Hard to see us containing or outscoring them, and we're due a big loss. Either way, I'm ready:

  • 0-3 defeat as more fans begin to realise that Powell doesn't actually walk on water.

We mugged them in the home game. I suspect this will be payback and fear it could be quite messy. Three or four, possibly even worse. Hope I'm totally wrong. Was supposed to be going but am ill unfortunately. Pity. Cracking stadium. Good bunch of fans.

Have a good feeling about this and think we are due some good fortune. An awful lot of pressure on Leicester and I can see us deserving a point in a 1-1 draw.

Where's our next clean sheet coming from (as the brothel owner said)? I've given up predicting wins for us, so I've stopped making predictions. I hope if he picks him Powell doesn't play Kermorgant for anything other than footballing reasons - no room for sentiment.

    Up next, Green or Wagstaff?

How can we do that when the 'was Parky a good manager?' debate still has so much more to give??
Eh? I thought we were still blaming Hamer!

Christ I just can't keep up!

Our first proper tonking of the season.

Lets be honest they ran us ragged second half at the Valley.

    5-0.

Its a 1-1 for me and with haynes getting it; wagstaff man of the match and dale playing a blinder too. I wish wiggins would start and play an attacking game with wagstaff on the left just to get a bit of excitement on the wing. Come on people embrace the challenge and lets get a something from the jaws of a thrashing.

Leicester are boosted by the return from injury of Chris Wood, Ben Marshall, Sean St Ledger and Zak Whitbread ahead of the visit of Charlton.

Striker Wood has missed the last two games with a knee problem, while winger Marshall sustained an ankle injury during the Championship defeat to Peterborough on February 9 and missed the home FA Cup loss to Huddersfield three days later.

Central defensive duo St Ledger and Whitbread have been out for considerably longer.

Republic of Ireland international St Ledger is back in the frame for the first time since the start of October when he suffered a hamstring injury in Leicester's 2-0 home win over Bristol City.

Whitbread has missed the last nine matches with a calf problem

Reckon we'll ship a couple of early goals, then wake up, score, and fall just short. 1-2.

    Brilliant!

    2-2
  • whatever team we put out we'll get slaughtered, at least 4-0, Saturday's home game against Forest is far more important.
  • Leicester tore us a new one earlier on in the season and somehow we won
Not this time, we'll lose and they will score 3 or more with a token goal the best we'll get
Hard work and effort can only take you so far ... Too many players of limited ability in and around about the team hence we're getting dragged towards the wrong end of the table
  • A lucky away win

    0-1

    Kermorgant
  • Hamer
    Solly Morro Cort Wiggo
    Wilson Jackson Dervite Stephens Wagstaff
    Kermo

    I'm sure that's what it'll be.

I'd prefer Wilson to be dropped for Haynes so we have some pace somewhere. And fuller for kermo but neither will happen. Wilson seems to be a favourite no matter how pony he is.

    Looks like 3 points then.

Yes, back to 4-5-1. A surprise 0-1 Addicks. It would be nice to see Wiggins back. Also Waggy for his energy and I prefer Fuller over Yann up front.

I hope we switch back to 451 with Wagstaff on the left. I think Wilson needs a rest but who to replace him with ?

2-1 to Leicester. KMG first goal for Charlton. Leicester equalise and in keeping with our last games, a loan window strengthening signing, for the opposition, again makes the difference -( Chris Woods).

An organised energetic performance may see us get something from the game. It would great to see a draw and Charlton can surprise and win when you least expect it.

I think that Chris Powell can make a few mistakes but he is doing excellently with the resources at his disposal. I hope the Charlton crowd can give Chris Powell great vocal support and show TJ / MS / KC that he has the crowds support. CP is Charlton through and through and chopping and changing managers will not do the club any good at all. Continuity is the key.

The Cardiff game showed the difference the crowd can make and we need to show full back at Leicester and Forest on Saturday.

100% support for Chris Powell, players and team.

This is going to sound very confusing, but you can never tell with Charlton...

If I were Powell and we weren't playing such a quality side that has the ability to score freely, my team would have to be:
    Hamer
    Solly Cort Morrison Wiggins
    Wagstaff Pritchard Stephens Jackson Haynes
    Fuller

Partnerships on both side that work well, Solly and Waggy for example. Haynes can push forward and support Fuller whilst Wiggins pushes forward for some width, allowing Jackson to make forward runs with Pritchard and Stephens doing the gritty role in the centre. You have pace, skill and hard working runners in that side.

However, I'm not the manager and I think it'll possibly be:
    Hamer
    Solly Cort Morrison Wiggins
    Wilson Pritchard Dervite Jackson Wagstaff
    Kermorgant

In which case I can only us getting a draw, which would be an excellent result.

A little bit worried but have a strange, but good, feeling about this one.
1-1 or if very optimstic, sneaking a surprising 2-1 victory.
