    Very very nice people as jashea99 said about the radio being switched on this bloke when he strated it up the radio cam on he then turned it off so we could hear the engine unlike the fella in the Seven Kings area who turned it on and up when he finally managed to get it started.

    Not pushy nice friendly polite manner, got it for a good price picking up Saturday as he had to get it MOT'ed even coming to collect us from the station as its a trek from it.




    What did you go for Leftbehind? That place is literally a two minute drive from me, will have a look down there myself at the weekend I think.

    Nice one. Helps to deal with people without the hard sell, especially as my knowledge of used cars is absolutely zero.

    Got a couple on their website that look good for what we are after.

    Also the car was spotless, says he is going to give ita clean beofre we pick it up LOL

    Also a oil and oil filter change

    The 3 month warrenty is given and he gave us a leaflet aboout extending it, again not pushy at all left it to us to decide, car had no, tax but said do we want to get it or he can do it for us for a fiver, which i thought was not to bad saves me the aggro, a lot of the cars there did have tax in date just not the one we wanted.

    Stunning car, but quite expensive considering it has so many non original parts.

    Don't think Ford ever put a Pinto engine in a MK1 Escort.

    £60k for a Ford Escort is insane. Even low spec Mk1 & 2 Escorts are worth a few quid now if they’re 2 doors.

    Had a two door Mk1 that I did up. He was called Derek.

    1600 Lotus twin cam, Weber twin 40s, 1600e manual box, 2 litre Capri front suspension, upgraded to disc brakes, 3 litre Capri LSD, 15" Rostyles and Recaro racing seats. Went like shit off a blanket.

    Some **** nicked it.
