  • Maybe Darren Furguson will be paying more attention to how daddy is doing then his own teams performance. If the world is watching then this should be an easy 3 points... shouldn't it?

Will be drunk in Peterborough. Not even bothered by the highlights.

  • Plan to try and watch this whilst listening the our game tonight but if i have trouble running both at the same time then sorry Jose but the mighty addicks will always win that battle. :-)

  • No. Stop and watch this tie:

He's right though most of the armchair footballing world will be watching overpaid superstars playing in front of quiet corporate glory hunters, while simultaneously and ironically crywanking about how football has been ruined by money.
  • will be too busy booing at SSN when our score updates come through.

gonna guess at Johnny Phillips being there.
  • Got huge respect for Jose.

My Nan sent him a England v Portugal programme from 1974 (I think) She didn't know what to do with it, so she sent it to him while he was manager of Chelsea hoping that it would help bring back 'memories' for him.

He sent a reply back saying how thoughtful it was and how he remembered the game/era well. He also signed the programme with his best wishes. Top man.

17 year old up top for Folkestone will be my brother. Looking to add to his tally v the Stones this season !

    Good luck to him!
  • Have 5 a side at 9 so i'll only catch first half. Rather watch than play.
  • Macclesfield have moved their game against Lincoln because of it...

  • Boo hoo. Poor old Man U.
  • Not even a foul in my opinion but it is Man Utd so i will live with it. :-)
  • Good point al
  • I think when you raise your foot that high up in the air (with studs showing), you're always running the risk.

Nani should've just gone in with his head.

This bit of the world looked up at the score and mumbled "They lost then" and carried on revising GCSE french.

    Ha, you cheeky git!

  • I am still in shock mate how did you not realise by date 1 what was needed 8)
  • Glad they're out. Bitter from Ferguson as well, classless wanker.
  • I am glad I didn't watch it

Johnboy she is mustard you missed out there
  • I thought it was a sending off, Fegie would have been screaming for a red if it had happened to one of his players. I thought Raphael should have gone and a penalty for handball on the line. I also think Madrids disallowed goal for a foul on van persie was no way a foul, so in all Man u got most of the decisions. Oh and what pure class from rio clapping in the refs face after the match....What a mug, should be banned for that.
  • I can see why he was sent off however that is not a sending off nani clearly has his eye on the ball is attempting to bring the ball down under control

At no point or time does he see the player until he connects

That is a decision made by someone with no playing experience ever at any level
  • Studs showing and very kung fu like. Easy to see why the ref showed a red.

Turned it off after that the two clowns on ITV were doing my head in.
  • Like Keane said, did he really think he was the only player on the pitch? Of course he knew there was a player there, you don't have to be looking at them to know a player is there. It's dangerous play and therefore a red.
