Tribute to Kim Grant

Here's a couple of You Tube videos obviously posted by Kim Grant's biggest fan. I liked Kim, always thought he tried hard and did OK for the team when he appeared for us. I was one of those annoyed at the 'Off Off' chants directed at him after that miss v Notts County, no player should have to endure that.
These videos look like they were produced by the club, would that be under the 'Moving Magazine' banner they used to do about 20 years ago?

I always like him, on his day he was brilliant! Shame he had a girls name...0
-
I thought he was dead after reading the thread title.0

Always liked him always looked a threat whenever he played0

If he'd found out the right studs to wear he'd have been awesome. As it was he spent more time slipping over than on his feet. But I liked him.0

I remember being bored one Saturday morning back in the early ninties, and we had Barnsley away that afternoon. Didn't intend on going, but just jumped in the motor and drove up there. I'm glad I did, as he scored an individual wonder goal which was easily worth the entrance fee alone. We drew 1-1
I agree that he wasn't the most gifted, but would give 100% every game.0 -
I was so proud to see a Charlton goal on MOTD's Goal of the Month competition after that lob at Anfield. Think I missed the results and even called up the BBC to find out if he won, I'd only have been 8 years old.0

I quite liked him. There have been many who haven't deserved to wear the shirt. Kim wasn't one of them.0

That was a brilliant goal. Drifted in from the left corner flag, weaved past a couple of Barnsley defenders and cracked it into the far corner.
He was excellent against Sheff Wed in the FA Cup game at the Valley too.0 -

Two goals against Millwall in the snow give him legendary status...0

He could be so frustrating to watch sometimes, but I will always love him for Millwall away with the white pitch and orange ball. Can't remember if he scored once or twice but we hadn't won there for ages. Good day that was!0

One of the few times we have beaten them in our history. I remember being in a pub called Tropics by South Bermondsey station before the game. Came out and it was snowing, pub was not very aptly named!BlackForestReds said:Two goals against Millwall in the snow give him legendary status...

Is this the early nineties team who were actually comfortable at this level of football and never in any relegation danger unlike this year. What does that make the current lot?!0
