Should we be worried about Leicester?

Do I detect Leicester are losing faith (again) with Nigel Pearson and if so would they come looking for SCP with his obvious previous connections and affection for the club? He would probably get more freedom to invest and build than currently available at The Valley. I believe this is more of a concern than some stupid talk about him deserving the sack. His performance given virtually no funding available this season has been very good and he is still on a pretty steep learning curve.

If Pearson is given the boot in the summer and we see the same budget constraints as last year, then yes, I reckon there would be a possible concern.0

Leicester's owners seem the type to want a high profile name to lead them to the PL, I don't think CP fits.0

You couldn't rule it out. However, you get a sense that there is a close friendship between Powell and Pearson and I suspect he might not want to take his mate's job. Especially given the comments from Chrissy about Pearson being his biggest influence.0

I think if SCP gets fannyed with the budget restraints/false promises like he was in the last close season when he didn't know what was/wasn't available until late in the close season, any offer would look more tempting than working for the chuckle brothers running the show atm
And Leicester have some proper money behind them by the looks of things so I would be worried about losing SCP , I hope Leicester go up !

Well, now most people seem to finally accept that relegation is unlikely this year, I guess they will need something to worry about after Millwall have come to town and raped, pilaged and burnt the ground down.0

Yes. This is a concern that seems to be gathering pace however slow that pace is at the minute.
I think ultimately the Leicester owners will go with someone more experienced in top of the championship matters. If Nigel Pearson goes then I would put my money on Nigel Adkins.

Of course Pearson - who I think is a good manager- could yet turn it round.0

Yep, I think it is a risk. I would much rather CP stay because he gets the right backing to take our club forward again next season, than because Pearson does ok at Leicester.0

Leicester will go for Adkins if Pearson gets the boot.0

Relegation now Powell leaving... Some people really need things to worry about dont they?0

Agree with this. Not sure CP would be near the top of any potential replacement list should they part company with Pearson though. I think they would go after a big name or at the very least a more proven manager.Lincsaddick said:Leicester will go for Adkins if Pearson gets the boot.
Even if he was, I'm not so sure CP would leave us yet anyway. I certainly hope not that's for sure.
Adkins would be a perfect choice for them imo.
