Being at the Old Den watching us play when another Papal Vote was happening. Now , i know it doesnt happen very often, so thought it odd that we also playing Millwall this weekend when they are choosing.

i think it was a 1-1 draw - Hugh Mcauly scored for us - no doubt someone will put me right.

I'll get me coat.

    I think your memories playing tricks on you. The draw at the Den was in September 77, the year of three Popes was 78. Maybe you had a premonition.

    You know what its like SHG, remember stuff from 30 years ago, but cant remember what i did yesterday.

    Maybe it wasnt the draw then - maybe it was the next season (78) ?

    The Polish goalkeeper got the nod on 16 October - we won 2-0 at The Den on the 28th, Shaw and Shipperley I think scored.

    We drew 1-1 at the Den 76/7, on 27th December. Tony Burman (now Dartford manager) scored for Charlton. Not sure what the Pope was doing that day.
