My 11 year old Son wants me to decorate his bedroom "Charlton Style" and wants me to paint the sword onto his wall.
Does anybody have any tips on how to get the proportions of the image correct? (so the blade doesnt look too fat or skinny and how to perfect the griiping fist.??
I'm no Rolf Harris :-(

Print out a big template over a number of pages, and cut out or take the measurements from a reasonably sized image of the badge and times it by 50 or 100 or a million, depending on how massive you want it!0

Down load a picture on your pc/laptop, magnify on the screen and take dimensions?0

At 11 he should have covered some of the maths at school that pertains to angles with a protractor etc. You could give him the job of scaling the sword from printing one out A4 size.
Alternatively (all be it, it would be costly) you could approach one of those firms that prints on canvas and ask them to print you a picture that you could, literally, hang on his wall. That way you could remove it and replace it every time you have to decorate his room again.0 -
