Clive Burr RIP

Sad to hear that former Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr has passed away after battling Multiple Sclerosis for some years. He performed with Maiden in their early days up the 'Number of the Beast' album. Up to a few years ago he attended special Maiden concerts for a charity set up in his name - Clive Aid.
Will be listening to 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' VERY LOUD on my Ipod home tonight.

I'm a big heavy metal fan. I like Maiden, but never been a huge lover in listening to them for more than a few songs at a time.
Number Of The Beast is an absolute classic album, however.

Very sad, RIP
Saw them loads with the original line-up.
Used to drink at the bar back in those days.
Pity about the Hampers connection.0
