The indispensables

First on the list: Powell, but that is another debate.

Pretty sure everyone agrees that we need a lot of help and players in next summer, I was thinking about players that we could build around and it was worryingly short.

Solly, Wiggins are no brainers, probably Morrison too despite his struggles at times this season but who else in our team could really be part of a playoff side? I would like to keep Kermy, Haynes and Jackson as pieces of the squad but I'm not even sure if they would be first team top quality Championship players? Harriot has looked promising and obviously he should be part of the squad as well but probably not a starter yet.

I think that Bradley shows signs of his lack of experience in the pro game, but could be a good squad player.

Pritchard doesn't have the passing/shooting ability to play at this level.

I'd keep Solly, Wiggins, Morrison, Harriott, Haynes, Kermorgant. Rest can be changed.

On todays performance,Haynes can go and I don't think he'd be missed. Can't tell your own fans to fuck off for calling you lazy when you have played like a lazy twat

Solly, Morrison, Wiggins, Haynes and Kerm are good enough starters week in week out.

Hamer, Cort, Devite, Evina, Wilson, Pritchard, Jackson, Stephens are worth keeping aswell.

Harriot has a lot of potential and hopefully will be a real find.

Would not be too sad to see anyone from the rest leave tbh.
  • I would keep solly, wiggins, evina, morro, hamer, pritch, harriot, wilson, stephens & kermy - all others could go if we had the money to bring in better.
  • Don't think Haynes was half as bad as Pritchard

Was disappointed with the amount of times he was offside and his pace seemed a little off. But didn't strike me as having a particularly bad game, no worse than 3 or 4 others.

He's definitely got talent and shown that in other games this season.

Don't know if I agree with that BUT I'm afraid Pritch ain't up to it at this level. You can't fault his commitment, effort, enthusiasm etc but he is seriously lacking in the required ability at this level.

Agree. I know people love a 'trier', but he just doesn't have any ability whatsoever going forward. He can't shoot, he can pick 1 pass out of 4 and gets shoved off the ball too easily.
  • I like Pritchard and his effort, made some great tackles in the first half but he can't find his own man with a simple pass, and that broke down our play on several different occasions

Pritchard would be very useful as a squad player in a team challenging for promotion. He could be used when we need a bit of energy, rather than they way he is at the moment. In this team he's having to try to play as a box to box goalscoring midfielder. He can pass more accurately than he did today and he has in plenty of games in the past.

Shouldn't ignore his assist record either, 8 according to the FL site. Our next best is 4. Not a technical player but to say he lacks any ability going forward is ridiculous.

He needs good Champ standard creative players alongside him. Stephens and Green aren't reliable enough. Jackson's fairly solid but not in the same league as say Andy Reid when it comes to creating chances. Hopefully Gower makes a difference this season in that area.
