    Do you go to away games ? I do, and my mindset is totally different. Powell got us up with a poor squad, in a higher league he'll keep us up with a comparatively poorer squad. Today's result was heartbreaking but really it's one of 46 this season and enough of that number will be positive enough to keep us in this division.

    If Powell has to go, name the manager who (realistically) could have done what he did last year, could come in now or who could move us on ?

    Would take Curbs back. But apart from him I would rather have Powell than anyone else.

    Plus would rather have Jackson, Kerm, Morrison etc who actually have a passion for the club and are decent blokes than have a load of arseholes playing for us and managing us who CAFC means nothing to.

    Home form isn't great,I agree.
    We lose to our nearest rivals, it hurts like mad ( as a player and a fan)
    We stay up because of our away record, I see it as job done, mission accomplished.
    Championship football for 2013/2014 we go again. This is how I see it but others will differ. CAFC..

    so you have completely forgotten the 08/09 season with semedo and racon, thousands of loans soares, butterfield etc being absolutely useless and us finishing with 39 points and bottom? or the abject performances under parkinson, or even some of the piss poor showings we made in the 96/97 season , the year before we went up. Some people only have selective memories to try suit their argument. I've only been going since I was 8 (93/94) and I can think of 3 seasons where the football was worse than this one!!

    Sacking Chris Powell would be the biggest mistake the club has ever made. I'll take him any day over the generic overrated knobs like Steve Bruce, Mick McCarthy etc.

    Nine home defeats this season. If Powell was not in charge, and some non charlton hero was in charge, then the daggers would have been out a couple of months ago. The home record is not acceptable. Hopefully we will consolidate, and the summer months lead to better times.

    He's not above criticism I'm afraid.

    Was with some Millwall mates in the pub later on today and we were laughing about their fans singing "there's only one Kenny Jackett" today. After the home defeat to Wolves and even the 0-0 at home in the cup to Blackburn some of their fans were apparently booing and wanted him out. Now he's a hero. It's a funny old game.

    Shit as losing today was and is, good as taking 3pts last week was and is, winning title last year, play off final, play off final replay original one (still better than Sunderland and always will be. etc etc etc. Powell aint the problem, Curbs wasn't the problem, Lawrence and on and on and on.........
