I actually thought their seemed to be quite a friendly, banterish atmosphere today. That's the way I view Millwall as a rival. Most Charlton supporters have a lot of Millwall supporting friends / family. And as far as I'm aware there wasn't any trouble after the match.

Sorry but you're Norfolk, you just wouldnt understand.
I've only lived in Norfolk for the last 4 years. More people should move to Norfolk they might learn to chill out a bit.

i hold more contempt for palace than wall. My dad raised me with anti palace songs (1 goal goes passed nigel martyn etc) and just brushed millwall off as a nothing club.

I think you will find its one goal went past Perry ( not me, Perry Suckling ).

Did enjoy that. Especially after their corner which went straight into the side netting!

Indeed. I was worried I'd been using the wrong name all this time.

Just to Make a point of how much we care we had an average attendance, when we went to millwall they sold out. They constantly say that they don't care about us etc but I think they care more than us. The taking the piss off the millll song was quality seemed whatever song they sang we had a song to shut them up.

I pity Millwall, definitley the short straw of clubs to be brought up supporting. When someone is that unlucky to have to support them, I don't have as much hate.

Palace though, I hate them. More delusional.

Apparently, "Danny shittu that's we do". The problem being you can't win against people that stupid. No matter what we say or do, they are so thick they will always think they have won...

I know exactly what you mean.
I'm sure there are some normalish ones among them but per head they are car crash tv material

The atmosphere was great until they scored. Louder than the Cardiff game and funny too.

Couldn't give a rat's arse about Millwall, got mates who have supported them for over 30 years, always giving it to me when they win but my happy memories are our EPL years something Millwall would love more than anything. Been there done it and worn the tea shirt so they can jog on with their 2-0 win. Ronaldo doing his step overs on the Valley turf...priceless!

  • I loathe them and only them, even though technically they're not even a proper South London club, they should naff off back to where they come from, Palace are just a mild irritant and I really can't be bothered about them.

Over the years I've gone both ways about the Spanners.

My first Charlton V Millwall game was our 3-2 win in the mid 70's,a year or two later I saw us win at the Old Toolbox.During this period my best friend at school was a Lions fan and I would often I would go with him.So my generation was probably the last that used to alternate between the clubs.I also wanted them to win in the FA Cup Final in 2004,whereas this time I will be firmly in the Wigan camp.

Our record against them is appalling which I partly put down to the fact that the best CAFC teams have never played Millwall, but we tend to play their better teams because we are normally on the slide when the fixture comes around.
