I bet there will be a massive clear out at Q.P.R unless these players get paid ridiculous wages. For a team with a good squad of players they are in a false position.

If I was a QPR fan, I would feel disgusted with some of the players performances.

They will have golden parachute money and the owner is loaded .. he can probably wriggle any QPR losses against his airline profits .. if any

True but can you really imagine the likes of Remy wanting to play in the Championship?

....... depends on his contract, I suspect he'll stay .. if QPR sell him it'll be for lotsa money and will allow for a good replacement. There will be a massive clearout this summer but I am sure that the majority of 'arry's recent signings will be there next season .. anyway, they are not down .. not quite yet

They have already said when they signed Remy that he would only stay if they stayed up.

Think Boswinga, Samba and the goallie are on silly money even for the prem. Can see Ferdinand jumping ship / cutting his losses..............then watch the freefall.
  • The likes of Julio Cesar, Remy, Bosingwa, Taarabt and Granero will definitely go if they go down. Would've thought they'd also want to offload Samba and Zamora because of their wages.

QPR lost £23M the year they secured promotion and £23M last season despite revenue increasing to £64M ! Last season their wage bill doubled from £28M to £58M and that is before the latest signings. Deep pockets is one thing but this is looking too expensive
  • The only players that will stay are the ones they had last time in the Championship, plus probably Rob Green, Onuoha, SWP, Bothroyd, DJ Campbell, Zamora (maybe)... the likes of Cesar, Remy, Bosingwa, Samba, Granero, Park, M'bia, Hoillet will be offski
  • I am sure some of the big name signings would have relegation release clauses in their contracts that allow them to leave for a fixed fee.

Why would the players choose to leave? No one else is going to pay them the same wages. I doubt many, if any, actually give a flying f... which league they're in.

This .. but there will be a big exodus as QPR have a lot of players on the books who will never ever get another sniff at the first team. It all depends on the various player contracts and when they expire

QPR will probably do a Leeds and pay the difference in wages between what their new club are willing to pay and what QPR were daft enough to pay, just to get the dead wood out.

Or loan them out under the same principle - doubt we were paying Hulse's wages in full.

Well supported (financially) but badly run club.
